Assemble electronic equipment trays prior to installation in departmental enforcement vehicles, including the assembly of new tactical network components. Ensure quality assurance of all wiring and related products produced in the electrical assembly of the enhanced radio system mobile environment. Design, layout, and install prototype wiring assemblies used in CHP enhanced radio systems, which includes determining of the wire length, thickness, and other necessary specifications. Disassemble and evaluate usable parts associated with CHP enhanced radio systems. Maintain assembly parts database to determine priorities for the electrical assembly of CHP enhanced radio systems, which includes wiring, terminals, and other support equipment kept at the Supply Services warehouse. Estimate costs of repairs, and order materials and replacement parts for electronic equipment trays.

Incumbents are required to crawl underneath a vehicle/down under the dashboard/into the trunk; and work in varying, and sometimes extreme temperatures.
