This role is for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care to neonates in a high-volume delivery hospital. The RN will perform patient assessments, administer medications, participate in treatment planning, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. A minimum of two years of NICU experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to neonates in a NICU setting.
- Performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Participating in treatment planning and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educating patients' families about their newborns' care.
- Responding to emergencies and providing critical care as needed.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (Inferred based on NICU setting).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (Cerner experience preferred).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a Level III NICU.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required.
- 13-week assignment.
- 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift.
- High-volume NICU environment.
