Job Description

We are partnering with a company who is looking to bring a PLS to their team. The company is family-owned and operated, with great culture and low turnover. They've been in business for over 10 years, and steadily grown since. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up with their surveying career. The ideal candidate has significant office experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction staking surveys.
* Utilize and maintain survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
* Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in survey technology.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying laws and regulations.
* Appear in the Monroe office Monday-Thursday, and the Fort Wayne office on Fridays.

Qualifications:

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Indiana or ability to obtain soon.
3+ years of experience in land surveying, with a strong understanding of survey principles and practices.
Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS applications, and data collection tools.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with drone technology, 3D scanning, or construction staking is a plus.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
