Job Description

We are currently seeking Ironworker / Welders. This position requires 3 years of verifiable experience erecting steel. Must have welding continuity log, welding cert, and aerial lift

Ironworker / Welders Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine the layout and dimensions of structural components
• Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components, including beams, columns, and braces
• Use various tools and equipment such as welding machines, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to cut, shape, and bend steel
• Perform rigging operations to lift and position heavy steel components
• Install metal decking and other materials to create floors, walls, and roofs
• Weld or bolt connections between structural steel members
• Inspect completed structures for quality and adherence to codes and standards

Ironworker / Welders Skills:

• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Experience with ductwork fabrication, machining, pipe threading, and plasma cutting
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to structural steel construction
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment used in ironworking
• Skilled in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and working at heights
